SEMA sees new Mazda Club Sports
The Speciality Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show in Las Vegas saw a number of weird and wonderful vehicles make an appearance.
Mazda has displayed four new concepts at the event - including two from the Club Sport design.
The manufacturer has intended to deliver models that still fit in with their "Zoom-Zoom" mentality, but that also come in stylish and visually appealing designs.
All vehicles made their official debuts at SEMA, with the Mazda3 and Mazda6 demonstrating the potential of a "Club Sport" treatment. This unique design utilises a specific colour palette of neutral grays, blacks and reds, with angular lines intended to make the car look like it is in motion, even when it is stationary.
The Club Sport 6 Concepts also features a design exclusive to Mazda, with a Composite Grey finish and Brilliant Black rooftop. It also comes equipped with front, rear and side diffusers, a rear spoiler and will achieve excellent grip and handling through the use of Yokohama S.drive 245/35R20 tyres on 20 inch black wheels.
The Club Sport 3, on the other hand, keeps the same Rays 57 Motorsport G07FXX 20-inch Black and Machining-coloured 10-spoke wheels, but this time comes wrapped with Bridgestone Potenza RE-11 235/35R19 performance tyres.
It also comes with the same diffusers as its 6 sibling, in addition to a new spoiler style. Both models are also available with innovative SKYACTIV technology.
Elsewhere the Vector 3 Concept further demonstrates Mazda's efforts to exhibit controlled aggression.
The design is intended to emulate active lifestyle and performance wear and comes in the sumptuous base colour of Soul Red.
Finally, the Ceramic 6 Concept delivers a symmetrical design pattern, with "eponymous" Ceramic White colouring and Taupe Silver stripes to accentuate the shape.
If it's anything like models of the past, it will perform beautifully on both the road and the track.
